Day-by-Day Itinerary
Morning pickup from Entebbe hotel or airport (8:00 AM). Start at UWEC with a guided behind-the-scenes tour—visit the lion enclosure, chimpanzee island, elephant paddock, and the famous shoebill stork breeding area. Learn about UWEC's conservation mission from your guide. Walk the 1km forest nature trail spotting butterflies, chameleons, and free-roaming vervet monkeys. Enjoy a lakeside lunch at the UWEC restaurant overlooking Lake Victoria. After lunch, take a boat ride along the shores of Lake Victoria spotting water birds and enjoying the scenery. Finally, stroll through the Entebbe Botanical Gardens—featured in the film "The Last King of Scotland"—before transfer back to your hotel or airport by 5:00 PM.
