About Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Africa's most biodiverse forest, home to roughly half of the world's endangered mountain gorillas. This ancient rainforest, over 25,000 years old, offers one of the most profound wildlife experiences on Earth-tracking gorilla families through misty, moss-draped forest. Beyond gorillas, Bwindi shelters over 350 bird species, 120 mammal species, and countless endemic plants.
